PSAC launches its lobbying activities in the National Capital Region.
An enthusiastic first meeting
 About thirty PSAC members from the federal ridings of Hull-Aylmer, Gatineau, Pontiac and Argenteuil-Mirabel-Papineau met in Gatineau on June 20 to launch union lobbying operations in the Outaouais.
The members used the occasion to discuss how they will do their lobbying during the next few weeks. They also were able to meet the Liberal MP for Hull-Aylmer, Marcel Proulx, who visited the group.
Next steps
Members of the riding teams will be invited to participate in the initial activities in the coming weeks. Lobbying by the PSAC will take on various forms ranging from visits to the current MP or candidates of the main political parties to public awareness activities at public events.

You can also contact the regional representative responsible for lobbying in the Outaouais, Pierre Lebel, to send him the latest information on candidates in the Outaouais, current cases, issues, etc. Your participation will make our activities all the more relevant.
Tools at your disposal
We will be putting some tools on line such as information material, pamphlets, links to events, etc., to help you make a more effective contribution to lobbying activities in the region. Once again, you can help us by telling us what is happening in the region.
